Sonata Orchestra

Sonata Orchestra is an auditioned orchestra made up of 10th-12th grade students. Students perform grade 2-3 music and further develop skills in shifting, 2-octave scales, vibrato, increasing rhythmic complexity, and a higher standard of pitch accuracy. Fundamental technique is reviewed and reinforced in Festival Orchestra. Festival Orchestra performs at the Fall Concert, Winter Concert, ISSMA Organizational Festival, and Spring Concert.
