2025 ISSMA Organization Festival Performances
ISSMA Organization Festival is an adjudicated orchestra performance for feedback and a noncompetitive rating. The judges are all experienced music educators, and their 3rd party feedback is valuable to help us ensure we are meeting the educational needs of the students. These performances are open to the public. We would love for family and friends to come listen and support the students!

Audience information (from the site host)
When you first arrive to Hamilton Southeastern High School, please use the parking facility just South of the building off Royalty Drive. You may enter the school at door 18. The Leonard Auditorium will be just inside to the right.
Please note that there may be more than one performance area in operation at the same time. Bands and Orchestras will be performing Leonard Auditorium very close to door 18.
It is MOST IMPORTANT that you follow and are aware of the following guidelines:
Once a performance has begun, NO ONE will be allowed to enter the performance area until all three musical selections are complete. Therefore, please plan to arrive no later than 15 – 20 minutes prior to your child’s performance time.
Some performance sites have multiple performance rooms, be sure to locate and identify the correct performance area prior to entry.
Please be courteous of all performers, host officials, volunteers and the host facilities. It is allowable and encouraged that you applaud a fine performance.
Electronic devices such as cell phones, tablets, and watches should be turned off or placed on a muted setting prior to entry of a performance room.
Concessions will be available for you and your child while visiting the performance site. Food or drink is NOT PERMITTED in any performance area.
Every ensemble is performing music selected by the teacher for a panel of adjudicators. Ratings, not placings, are provided to each group based upon the rating established by the total panel.
Please be aware that adjudicators will be recording comments during the performance. If you are distracted by their talking, please move to another seat in the auditorium between numbers.
Any questions, comments, or concerns must be reported to the director who has entered the student in the event. Directors serve as the liaison between ISSMA and schools, students, parents and staff members.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased on the Palladium website, by phone, or in person at the box office. Tickets purchased online or by phone will be subject to a service fee. Tickets purchased in person at the box office are not subject to this fee.
Audience members wishing to attend both concerts should only purchase a set of tickets to one concert. After purchasing your tickets, you may reserve free tickets to the other concert by contacting the Palladium box office. You will not need to pay twice to attend both concerts, but you will need to reserve the second ticket!

Orchestra Back-to-School Picnic
Even though it rained a little, we had an amazing time with students and families at our Back-to-School Picnic last Saturday at Cool Creek Park! It was wonderful to see orchestra families and students connect and have fun together. Special thanks to the parent volunteers who helped, and our Orchestra Parent Club for supplying the hot dogs and hamburgers for this event.
